Thank you for your interest in the 4th Annual BCCC Chili Contest!
General information:
- Event Date: 10.24.26
- Location: Bent County Community Center (1214 Ambassador Thompson Blvd. Las Animas.CO.81054)
- Fee: $15.00 per division (cash only)
- Set up: We will start the contest at 1pm on the stage. Please arrive and check in by 12p to receive your instructions.
- Please bring your own extension cord, bowls, and serving utensils. We will give each contestant a number.
- Rules: Judges will be assigned and they will use a pre-determined rating system.
Divisions:
- Best Green Chile/ Red Chile/ and Best Enchiladas
- AWARDS > MEDAL1st-3rd
- PRIZE MONEY$> 100% PAYOUT> 1ST =50% / 2ND=30% / 3RD =20%
EVENT SCHEDULE:
- Check in at 1230pm> front desk of the community center.
- Set up> The contest will be held on the stage of the BCCC. A table will be reserved with your name, and you may set up at your convenience; however, please ensure you bring your own extension cord. Be ready by 12:45pm to present samples for judging.
- 1p-1:30p- Green Chili judging and awards.
- 1:30p-2:00p- Red Chili Judging and awards.
- 2:00p-2:30p- Enchiladas Judging and awards.
