User Responsibility and County Indemnity:
The signer of the application will be considered the legal agent of the organization using the building facility, and as such, will be responsible for compliance with all conditions for use of same.  The applicant signing the Rental Request for Building Use and the organization so represented will indemnify the County, and any persons whose property may be within that building, for loss or damage to such property caused by any persons attending said meeting/event or any damage or injury arising by reason of holding said meeting/event.
The applicant shall be responsible for the conduct and control of all participants and spectators and shall see that federal, state, municipal and District regulations governing safety are followed.  There must be adequate adult supervision for all use.  The Board of BCCC may require the user to provide certificate of insurance and proof of adequate police and fire protection.  The applicant must agree to be financially responsible to the County for any and all damages that occur to the building and property during the period of use.  Excessive wear to the County’s equipment may be charged to the user.

After approval, a copy of this request will be returned to the applicant by the BCCC Coordinator and will serve as the applicant’s identification to the building staff at the time of use.

In Consideration of my organization’s use of County property, I promise to pay any and all expenses and damage incurred by the County in connection with my organization’s use of County property.

I agree to all terms and understand I must pay the deposit in advance and the fee before my event takes place.
