Registration starting 8.15.25 (full year)
Fee= $75.00/year (Fall/Spring) We will accept vouchers, but they are valued at $35.00 so you must cover the remaining balance.
Uniforms= Each cheerleader will receive a new custom uniform! (returned at the end of the season)
Ages= Grade k-6
Out of town kids are welcome!
Practices= Monday/Wednesday (5-6p) at the BC Community Center. Starting 1.3.25

Parent Meeting and uniforms: 8.27.25 at 5:00pm (all fees must be paid in full to receive a uniform) Parents will sign a responsibility form for the team uniforms and pom poms.

YOUR COACHES ARE JESSICA MCLAIN (719.292.2270) AND SAMANTHA PALMER (719.469.5259). Jessica has years of experience as a head coach and has helped develop other cheer programs. Samantha Palmer is a 3rd year cheer coach, and she will help support Jessica. Both of these coaches have been instrumental in other youth programs within BCRL, and your coaches are committed to help develop your child and create an excellent cheer program! In addition, Destiny Baca will be helping the staff as a parent/coach. This is Destiny's second year, and we are very excited she has volunteered to help. If want to help in anyway, please let your coach know or call Robert at 719.468.6792!

Please attend the parent meeting on 8.27.25 at 5:00 pm at the center to learn more about the cheer program and complete your registration and pay all fees. I hereby release and absolve the Bent Count Recreation League, the City of Las Animas, Bent County and all its employees or agents of same from any claims arising from injury received by the participant involved in this activity, whether due to negligent acts or omissions of said parties, other participants or otherwise. In case of accident or illness, I hereby authorize a representative of the BCRL to use his/her judgment in obtaining immediate medical care. I understand that some teams may travel to other towns for games and/or tournaments. I understand that it is my responsibility to provide or arrange transportation for my child(ren) to out of town games.  Participant Obligations: As with any extracurricular activities, education comes first.  All participants must attend a full day of school before participating in any BCRL organized event. Failure to comply may result in any or all of the following: suspension of participation in upcoming events, dismissal from the team, or the participant and or family no longer permitted to participate in BCRL sponsored events. I fully understand and agree that if I use any of my personal property while participating in this event or activity, the county will not provide insurance coverage or be financially responsible should damage or loss occur. By signing this Acknowledgement and Waiver of Liability, I agree to abide by all rules and regulations pertaining to this activity.  I further agree and understand that the county is not responsible for my actions and I release and absolve the county from any liability associated with this event.

I understand the uniform I sign out must be returned at the end of the semester. Any damages to the uniform are the parents' responsibility.
