Welcome to the BCRL Cheerleading team page!

The BCRL will add youth Cheerleading to our programs starting NOW! We are excited to launch the first rec league cheer program that is directly associated with our youth sports programs. This cheer program is open to youth in grade k-6.

Registration starting 8.22.24
Parent meeting 9.9.24 at 530pm at the BC Community Center (conf room).
Fee= $50.00/ per semester (Fall/Spring) We will accept vouchers, but they are valued at $35.00 so you must cover the remaining balance of $15.00
Uniforms= Each cheerleader will receive a new custom uniform! (returned at the end of the season)
Ages= Grade k-6
Out of town kids are welcome!
Practices= Tuesday/ Thursdays (5-6p) at the BC Community Center.

YOUR COACHES ARE JESSICA MCLAIN (719.292.2270) AND SAMANTHA PALMER (719.469.5259). Jessica has years of experience as a head coach and has helped develop other cheer programs. Samantha Palmer is a first-time cheer coach, and she will help support Jessica. Both of these coaches have been instrumental in other youth programs within BCRL, and your coaches are committed to help develop your child and create an excellent cheer program! Please attend the parent meeting on 9.9.24 at 530pm at the center to learn more about the cheer program and the team plan for 2024. If you intend on participating in the cheer program and attending the parent meeting you will need to register by using the electronic form below. Please ensure you hit submit to process the form.

I hereby release and absolve the Bent Count Recreation League, the City of Las Animas, Bent County and all its employees or agents of same from any claims arising from injury received by the participant involved in this activity, whether due to negligent acts or omissions of said parties, other participants or otherwise. In case of accident or illness, I hereby authorize a representative of the BCRL to use his/her judgment in obtaining immediate medical care. I understand that some teams may travel to other towns for games and/or tournaments. I understand that it is my responsibility to provide or arrange transportation for my child(ren) to out of town games.  Participant Obligations: As with any extracurricular activities, education comes first.  All participants must attend a full day of school before participating in any BCRL organized event.
