We look forward to another successful softball season and welcome ALL ADULT SOFTBALL TEAMS! The League is comprised of local teams from the Bent County area region. This year we will offer a trophy for the Championship team at the end of the season! That trophy will have the names of each CHAMPIONSHIP TEAM each season. The champs hold the trophy for one full year and defend it each season. If you have team interested in playing you can sign the whole team up today on this page. Simply fill out the registration form below and get your team together and makes sure to attend the League Meeting 5.26.23 at 515pm (BC Comm Center), In our League the Captains are on the Advisory Board and they have input on league rules; structure; and accountability of players. We feel this process of accountability enables us to offer a safe and "family friendly" environment!

Key Information:

All players must be 18+ years old. (No exceptions)
Fee of $20.00 per player> this is collected by the team Captain and paid prior to the first game. Captain's will turn in rosters prior to the first game and all players are required to sign a liability release.
LEAGUE MEETING: 6.23.23 at 5pm. (mandatory for captain or team rep)
Projected Season Start date>7.6.23 (4-week season)
Pre-Season Games> TBD
End of Season Tournament (7.29.23)
This league is family friendly, therefore public consumption of alcohol; marijuana; and/or illegal drugs is not permitted. Kids will be present, so we ask that consumption of legal products be done with discretion.
Rosters: Rosters will be finalized and turned into BCRL by 7.5.23. Any changes after 7.5.23 must be reported to BCRL director and team captains.
Uniforms: teams are responsible for their team uniforms, but they are not required to play.
Practice: Once all rosters are turned in BCRL will create a practice schedule to ensure all teams have fair field time.
Player/Team Conduct: Abuse of any type towards officials; other teams/players is prohibited and will result in expulsion from all adult recreation activities associated with BCRL. No exceptions.

I hereby release and absolve the Bent Count Recreation League, the City of Las Animas, Bent County and all its employees or agents of same from any claims arising from injury received by the participant involved in this activity, whether due to negligent acts or omissions of said parties, other participants or otherwise. In case of accident or illness, I hereby authorize a representative of the BCRL to use his/her judgment in obtaining immediate medical care. I understand that some teams may travel to other towns for games and/or tournaments. I understand that it is my responsibility to provide or arrange transportation for my child(ren) to out of town games.  Participant Obligations: As with any extracurricular activities, education comes first.  All participants must attend a full day of school before participating in any BCRL organized event.      By signing below as parents/guardians/participants, you agree to the above conditions as listed on this form. Failure to comply may result in any or all of the following: suspension of participation in upcoming events, dismissal from the team, or the participant and or family no longer permitted to participate in BCRL sponsored events.  General Participant Waiver Acknowledgement and Waiver of Liability City of Las Animas, Las Animas School District, Bent County and Bent County Recreation League Event/Activity:  Bent County Youth Football As a participant in the above-named event or activity, I am doing so at my sole risk.  Insurance coverage of any type is not provided by the county, its Board of County commissioners, appointed boards, its employees, its agents or its assigns, regarding any injury, loss of liability that may arise through the participation in this activity. I fully understand and agree that if I use any of my personal property while participating in this event or activity, the county will not provide insurance coverage or be financially responsible should damage or loss occur. By signing this Acknowledgement and Waiver of Liability, I agree to abide by all rules and regulations pertaining to this activity.  I further agree and understand that the county is not responsible for my actions, and I release and absolve the county from any liability associated with this event.
