Welcome to the registration page for Youth basketball! Please complete the registration form below to ensure your player is authorized to play and receives a shirt. We are in process of assembling coaches and scheduling practice dates and times and when that is completed, we will post that information on our Facebook: Bent County Recreation League.

REC FEE: $50.00/ player (additional players $45.00 each) Late Fee applies after 12.8.25= $60.00
Deadlines: Grade 1-2 (11.15.25) Grades 3-6 (12.8.25)
VOUCHERS: We were informed vouchers are available at the CSU Bent County Extension office located at 1499 Ambassador Thomson Blvd. Las Animas.CO. Phone- 719-456-0764. PLEASE NOTE: THE VOUCHER HAS A $35.00 VALUE. The rec fee is $50.00 per child and $45.00 for each additional. Therefore, if you use a voucher you would have to pay the difference. This would include late payments that require a late fee.
RESADA GRANT (20 TOTAL) = To qualify for this grant you must be a HIGH-RISK FAMILY. We will evaluate each request to ensure you qualify and call you to let you know the status. NOTE: if your player does not attend practices and participate actively the grant will be removed. The first 20 players that qualify will receive this grant for the full $50.00 fee.

Divisions:

Coed 1-2 Grade: PRACTICE STARTS 11.11.25 (Tuesday/Wednesday/ Thursday 4-5pm) AND THE SEASON START LATE NOVEMBER-LATE DECEMBER. WE PLAY IN ROCKY FORD LEAGUE
3-4 GRADE BOYS AND GIRLS > PRACTICES START 12.2.25 AND THE SEASON STARTS EARLY JANUARY
5-6 GRADE BOYS AND GIRLS > PRACTICES START 12.2.25 AND THE SEASON STARTS EARLY JANUARY

I hereby release and absolve the Bent Count Recreation League, the City of Las Animas, Bent County and all its employees or agents of same from any claims arising from injury received by the participant involved in this activity, whether due to negligent acts or omissions of said parties, other participants or otherwise. In case of accident or illness, I hereby authorize a representative of the BCRL to use his/her judgment in obtaining immediate medical care. I understand that some teams may travel to other towns for games and/or tournaments. I understand that it is my responsibility to provide or arrange transportation for my child(ren) to out of town games.  Participant Obligations: As with any extracurricular activities, education comes first.  All participants must attend a full day of school before participating in any BCRL organized event.      By signing below as parents/guardians/participants, you agree to the above conditions as listed on this form. Failure to comply may result in any or all of the following: suspension of participation in upcoming events, dismissal from the team, or the participant and or family no longer permitted to participate in BCRL sponsored events. I fully understand and agree that if I use any of my personal property while participating in this event or activity, the county will not provide insurance coverage or be financially responsible should damage or loss occur. By signing this Acknowledgement and Waiver of Liability, I agree to abide by all rules and regulations pertaining to this activity.  I further agree and understand that the county is not responsible for my actions and I release and absolve the county from any liability associated with this event.
